Global EV shipments up 79% YoY in Q1, Tesla leads: Report

The company’s shipment grew 68 percent yoy in the first quarter and was expected to pass 1.3 million units at the end of 2022.

Byd Auto appeared as China’s Top EV Top seller during the first quarter. EV delivery increased by 433 percent yoy to reach more than 0.28 million units.China remains the market leader in shipping EV, followed by Europe and the US. China’s EV delivery increased 126 percent yoy in the first quarter of 2022 to reach more than 1.14 million units from only 0.5 million units in the first quarter of 2021.
