Gross GST Collection increased to 3,965.28 Crore RS over the last month from 2,999.91 Crore Rs collected in June 2021, thereby registering a growth of 32.18 percent.
Likewise, the state has collected 1,063.33 crore hospitals in CGST with a growth of 43.08 percent, RS 847.93 Crore in IGST with a growth of 0.63 percent and RS 806.39 Crore in a Cess with a growth this.
The total collection of VAT (gasoline & liquor) was RS 1,094.33 Crore in June 2022 compared to RS 711.15 Crore collected in June 2021, registered a growth rate of 53.88 percent, said officials.
Out of the total collection of VAT, the state received 860.57 Crore Rs from petroleum products and RS 233.76 Crore from liquor in June 2022. There was a growth of 26.14 percent in professional tax against the collection from RS 18.76 Crore during June 2021.
Commercial Tax Commissioner & GST, Sushil Kumar Lohani has instructed field officers to ensure at least 90 percent of return submissions, oversight of the return of all suspected/ large taxpayers and rapid requests and recovery in case of detection of irregularities.He also suggested tax officers to comply with 5T principles and immediately attended the original complaints of taxpayers.
