In accordance with a survey conducted by the Ciel HR Services recruitment and staffing company, Metro Cities witnessed major participation in the EV segment.And Bengaluru is the hottest location for EV talents with 62 percent of job posts in this region, followed by 12 percent in Delhi, nine percent in Pune, six percent in Coimbatore and three percent in Chennai, survey notes.
According to this study, there is significant work growth and average growth in the number of employees standing above 108 percent over the past two years.The survey entitled ‘The Latest Employment Trend in EV Sector 2022’ was conducted for an employee base of 15,700 spread across 52 companies.
This revealed that the technical function dominated the EV sector, followed by operations, sales, quality assurance, business development, IT, human resources and marketing.
The leading EV player has employed 2,236 employees over the past six months.Women, who have their presence in almost all sectors throughout India, climb their paths in the EV segment. Different EV companies such as Kinetic Green, Mahindra Electric Mobility, Convergence Energy Services Limited, Oben Electric Vehicle and Ampere Vehicle have women in top management positions, said Ciel HR.
